EID Tags and Readers
Electronic identification ear tags (EID) have an embedded transponder microchip that provides instant identification of the animal via an RFID reader. Tags can be verified visually or through scanning. Each tag is assigned a unique number, making the tracing and collection of animal health information quicker than manually recording data in a spreadsheet.
